Pear Shaped Zhu Ni Teapot
Pear Shaped Zhu Ni Teapot
I bought this while perusing the items in the Stop By Teahouse on Yong Kang Street in Taipei. I’ve always like this shape in pots but until then I couldn’t find anyone with in my price range. When I saw this pot I had to buy it. The shape was exactly what I had been looking for, but now it rarely gets used so here it is for you to buy. This pot is made from Zhuni and has probably a capacity around 90ml to 100ml or so. It brews well with fragrant roasted teas like Dancong or Yan Cha. It is slightly chipped at the tip of the spout but it is barely noticeable and doesn’t affect the pour. Really considering not selling this one but I need the money for some expensive teas I recently found. But act quick, I might just decide it’s not worth selling and take it down.
Disclaimer: I make no claims other than what was told to me by the seller at the time I purchased the pot. The price I sell this pot for is basically the same amount I paid for it. I have no further information other than what is written. Lighting may affect color of pot in the picture. Capacity of all pots are estimates. For exact capacity please contact me for more information.
