This tea is from an area called Ge Lang He (格朗和) in Menghai county. Made from 2022 spring gushu material, this tea has all the attributes you would associate with good young gushu raw puerh. However, what I think is the best quality of this tea is the mouthfeel. When you drink this tea you feel a subtle bitterness on the tip of your tongue but a very present sweetness in the back of your mouth. This interplay between bitter and sweet sensations makes this drinking this tea a very unique experience.
