This is ripe puerh from the early 2000s. This is a nice basic factory tea ripe puerh. It is reminiscent of the Kunming 7581 flavor profile. It has been aging in Taiwan in natural storage for almost two decades and has a good sweetness with subtle notes of molasses, dried fruit, and Chinese medicinal herbs. It has nice warming body feel and the tea pours out very clean. Great beginner tea for someone wanting to get into the world of ripe.
